ever since my summer break began, i..
1.) can’t seem to stop myself from killing my innards with excessive amounts of fat. goodbye to all the ‘pumayat ka ah!’ remarks. lol.
2.) can’t help but deprive my biological clock of sleep. i now usually sleep around 3 in the morning. it’s a good thing for someone whose lone study habit is procrastination. unfortunately, school’s out.
3.) turned my laptop into a (huge) portable DVD player. what am i supposed to do with it, type papers?
4.) have been thinking of a lot of creative ways to get out of the house, seeing that i did not take any classes for the summer term. it’s a good thing my blocmates saved me from possible death by boredom - very cliche, may i add - a day ago. an afternoon of DQ delight and DVD hunting.
5.) have been thinking a lot. most especially about my career path and course direction. my sister is graduating with honors this coming april 27 and now the pressure is on me. well, i don’t really sense it, since my parents already saw that one of their offspring graduated from UP, with an accounting degree to boot. i could drop from SE and they wouldn’t notice a thing.
(wow. my last post was a year ago. multiply was too much addicting.)

so the regular updates are not working.
i warn you, too much pseudo-academic-oriented text may hurt your brain cells.

sem break is over. i spent practically the whole of it at home, playing Pokemon on my laptop. went out of the house for two times only- a friendly date (3 became 2) with a high school friend (the works - lunch, movie + business expo. haha.), and a Halloween trip to Mall of Asia with my family. (1st timer here - the place really does have everything under one roof. can’t wait for my next trip here.)
end of sem break means the start of headaches for most students - it’s enrollment time. lugi ang batch 2006. we still have to wait for Thursday to enlist additional subjects in real time. fortunately, i only need 3 more units (6 actually, but i might take a breather from a 19-unit load last semester). either French 10 (elementary French) or Psych 150 (Personality) would do.

due to a mediocre academic showing during the recent semester, i swear to myself that this time around, i will:
1.) spend my vacant time WISELY.
2.) be an ACTIVE org member. not a ‘mem ka ba?’ member.
3.) CUT on the procrastination (i’m nearly there, believe me. lol)
8 days to another year. what a way to start the sem.

‘they shine.’
and there was bright light all over the place. on my seat, i was wondering why on earth did she not think of doing that before.
‘no star could do it with a broken heart.’
sweet.

two things served as the extremes for a rather uneventful day at school - highly unbelievable, considering the fact that the place is practically alive 24/7.
to keep myself from totally falling asleep in accounting 1 (what are intangible assets?!), i talked to my classmate - who also happens to be my blocmate and friend - about the group study me and other friends had the other night (curse that damn exam). ‘Oo nga e, nakita kita sa McDo nung isang gabi,’ she told me. she then said a few words that caught me by surprise. ‘Kita ko sa mata mo na masaya ka na.’
on the way home, I wished another friend of mine good luck through SMS. ‘Thanks.’ I sent a rather apologetic message; that i couldn’t attend the fashion show, and that i deferred from the organization we are currently joining (because i am too much of a liability to my batchmates, and i feel i’m not yet ready to take on another commitment). ‘Tampo ako sa’yo kasi nag-defer ka.‘
so much for extremes. that’s relative minimum and relative maximum for you.
